1867 Commonwealth Avenue
1867 Commonwealth Avenue is an architecturally historic house that serves as the administrative and therapeutic base of operations. Commonwealth Avenue is a four floor, twelve-bedroom residence situated across the street from the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. We offer private rooms with shared bathrooms. Two areas in our residence are designated for women. Staff are on site 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
Commonwealth Avenue is also the site for our Day Program. The house is filled with books, games, musical instruments, art supplies, and a Smart TV, as well as Wi-Fi. There are always welcoming staff and other residents to interact with. All new residents begin their EIKOS stay at Commonwealth Avenue before they can transition to one of our other residences.

78 Englewood Avenue

78 Englewood Avenue is our residence for those who are looking to increase and develop their independence and life skills. “Englewood” is a three floor, ten-bedroom, home near the border of Brighton and Brookline, just four blocks away from the Commonwealth Avenue house. It offers private single rooms with shared bathrooms on each floor. Staff visit Englewood twice a day, once in the morning, and once at night. The house is fully furnished and equipped with a full kitchen. Englewood residents come together for weekly house meetings to share experiences and build their community relationships. Residents may purchase their own groceries and prepare their own meals yet can also maintain a close relationship with the Commonwealth community through group experiences, medication administration, and meals if they desire.
124 Glenville Avenue
124 Glenville Avenue is a three-bedroom apartment for individuals who are looking to maximize their independence. Located near downtown Allston, “Glenville” is ideal for someone who is looking to become accustomed to independent living. Glenville is a 2-minute walk from the B line train, and a 10-minute ride to the Commonwealth Avenue house. At Glenville residents have the option to participate in the Day Program and eat meals at Commonwealth Avenue but are not required to do so. Our EIKOS residents at Glenville consider it their permanent home.
We steadfastly follow CDC guidelines for sanitation, testing and vaccinations to maintain a safe environment for our residents.
